The one thing that trips people up: your address

Use your sedra: address exactly as it appears in your wallet. Do not put kaspa: in front of it, the extra characters can overflow your miner's field and cut off the end, so the pool gets a broken address and you earn nothing while the miner looks fine. Always copy and paste, never type it.

Solo mining pays the whole block reward to whoever finds the block. On average your share of the reward equals your share of the network, but it arrives in lumps, not a steady drip. Everything below is computed live and shown with its formula.

Read this before you plug in

SEDRA is early and the network is small, so an ordinary rig can be a large share of it right now. That share, and the numbers above, shrink as more miners join. SDR is thinly traded and its price moves fast. Solo mining is lumpy: a small rig may wait a long time between blocks. Treat this as spare-hashrate territory, not income, and never as advice.

If it won't connect

Common fixes

  • Use port 5556 (variable difficulty, best for ASICs) or 5555 (fixed). Leftover Kaspa ports like 4444 or 16xxx will not work here.
  • Some firmwares want stratum+tcp:// in front of the host, others just stratum.sedracoin.com:5556. Try both.
  • If your firmware will not resolve the hostname, use the raw IP 169.58.126.141:5556 instead.
  • Remove other pools from the miner's list so it does not keep retrying a dead one.
  • The miner needs outbound access to the pool port. A restrictive firewall or VPN can block it.
Configs point at the public SEDRA stratum bridge. Mining rewards are paid on-chain to the address you set; SEDRA never holds them. Numbers use live network data (difficulty, block reward, hashrate) and the current MEXC price, and are estimates, not guarantees.
